Witchcraft Is The Cause Of Tragedies In Our Schools – Islamic Cleric

An Islamic soothsayer, Mallam Sham Una Ustaz Jibril says witches and wizards are tormenting students in various schools; hence something must be done to avert the “demonic” situations.

He claimed the recent deaths in some Senior High and Tertiary Institutions in the country are the cause of witchcraft – after given a spiritual background to the happenings.

“Witches, wizards and other spiritual able forces are now in the 21st century. Thus, the Georgia or Gregorian calendar is 17years ahead of the evil calendar whilst the lunar or Islamic calendar is 17years four months ahead of the evil calendar hence needs a fresh flesh for celebration to mark the century thereby going to our various secondary and Tertiary institutions to operate,” he said.

He recalled that – “Few months ago, seven students from Bawku Senior High School died, 4 students of Kumasi Academy (KUMACA) and 11 from Wenchi Methodist SHS at the Kintampo waterfalls also died mysteriously within a term.”

“Surprisingly, three students of the University of Ghana died within a semester, 3 from the University of Energy and Natural Resources (Fiapre) also died. Beyond this, four students from the Tanoso Community Health Nursing Training College also died in an accident at the Sunyani - Abesim road whilst in KNUST”

Mallam Sham Una Ustaz Jibril in an interview with Peacefmonline.com warned that something must be done to prevent any future attack.

“Spiritual hunters will launch a serious attack in the following schools next month onwards. These schools include Tamale SHS, Bolgatanga Girls (Bogiss) SHS, Bolgatanga SHS (Big Boss), St. Paul SHS, Arch Bishop Potters SHS, Kibi SHS, Wesley Girls SHS,Opoku Ware SHS, Yaa Asantewa Girls SHS, Achimota School,T I Ahmadiya SHS Kumasi, St. Peter's SHS, Kukuruntumi SHS, Yendi SHS, Salga SHS, Mfantiman SHS,MPASS, Accra Girls SHS, Sunyani Techincal University, TATCO, UDS Wa campus, School of Hygiene Accra, University of Ghana, Legon, Accra Technical University, Central University, UCC and KNUST” he said.

Adding that “ . . As for Volta and Western Regions schools, God have mercy on them. I therefore call on the government, Imams, Pastors, opinion leaders and so on to rise up and do something about the pandemic if not the past will be better than the future. The schools must pray.”
