Akufo-Addo Must Heed To Good Counsel – Prophet Adam

Prophet Jackson Kojo Adam has called on President Akufo-Addo to allow his government to be led by the wisdom of the Most High God for the fulfilment of His divine promise for the people of Ghana, which he called ‘Israel’.

According to him, God had promised the people of Ghana on oath, a land of peace and growth and that the prosperity of Ghana will depend largely on President Nana Akufo-Addo who he likened to Biblical Rehoboam who ruled over Israel.

Speaking at a media briefing in Accra a couple of days ago, the Prophet indicated that during the days of King Saul, he always sought the advice of God before undertaking any project no matter how small, and that his successor Rehoboam when confronted with his people over high taxes went to the elders who are now the Council of State to seek advice, but later turned down the advice given to him by the elders and rather held on to the advice of the young ones.

This, the prophet indicated, is not the sign of a good prospect for the nation and that, President Akufo-Addo must not allow himself to be pushed by bad council but always seek the face of God in everything he does “and if he does this, his government will prosper and extend. In so doing the promise of ‘I am that I am' for the people of Ghana (Israel) will come to fulfilment.”

He bemoaned the current situation in the country where graduate nurses agitate, ethnic division and clashes have been recorded, averring that, that is not the Israel God promised.

He said, if the president heeds to the voice of God and follow His council diligently, all the problems will no more be heard in the land.

Prophet Adam was hopeful that the president will not allow the word of God to go in vain but will work in line with the counsel of the Lord.
