Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho says "vultures" will soon inhabit the residence of the Northern Regional Chairman of the ruling NPP, Bugri Naabu.

Koku Anyidoho was commenting on the recent bad blood between the Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba and Bugri Naabu, and inferring from claims that the residence of the latter has now been turned into an abattoir.

The Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba, has issued a stern warning to the NPP Northern Regional Chairman not to court her trouble or else face her wrath.

She has indicated that she will file an official complaint about the conduct of the Regional Chairman for leading some "hoodlums" to disrupt a programme she organized at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.

“As a gender activist, I will file a complaint with the party over his conduct because he cannot come and disrupt a programme like that and be left off the hook”, she said.

She further accused the Regional Chairman of involving himself in some underhand dealings where he promises to give people positions in the government in exchange for bribes in the form of goats, cows and sheep.

“Bugri Naabu should stop promising people positions he cannot offer. He should better return their cows, goats and monies he took from them. If Bugri Naabu wants my trouble, then trouble he will give him one. He has gone to take goats and sheep from people and is promising them positions. I am in Tamale, I never went to Savelugu but Chairman Bugri claim I came to disrupt the confirmation of the DCE which is not even today.

I am the last person he will want to have his problems with, he should be very careful. He should not lie about me to cover up for his misdeeds. If Bugri wants trouble from me, then trouble will come” she cautioned.

The NPP Tamale Central Women's Organizer, Suraya Manan, also in an interview on Neat FM’s Morning Show earlier in the day, cautioned Bugri Naabu to stop peddling lies against the Gender Minister.

She further corroborated the Gender Minister's claims, saying Bugri Naabu’s house is now an abattoir.

"He should keep his mouth shut if he doesn’t want any trouble. We know all what he is doing,” she stated. 

Inferring from claims by Suraya Manan against Bugri Naabu; Koku Anyidoho stressed that "vultures" will converge in Bugri Naabu's house in so far as he continues to slaughter animals there.

According to him, the revelations by the NPP kingpins are a disgrace to Ghana, adding that it reveals the character of the NPP.

“So, Bugri Naabu has now turned his house in Tamale into an abattoir and receiving bribes. Everywhere there’s an abattoir, vultures abound…What I heard is that vultures are having a meeting in Tamale. So, they will storm Bugri Naabu’s house very soon because the place has been turned into an abattoir according to the gospel of the Tamale Central Women Organizer of the NPP”, Koku Anyidoho stated in an interview with Adakabre Frimpong Manso on "Me Man Nti" on Neat FM.

He was therefore hopeful that the NDC will come into power, come 2020, following what he claims are "blatant looting, stealing and plundering" going on under the Nana Addo administration.
