Subah Makes Giant Strides

The Revenue Assurance and Tax Monitoring technology developed and introduced by SUBAH Ghana is making giant strides on the African continent with Countries like Guinea, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia sourcing the system alongside Ghana.

Latest to embrace the technology is Sierra Leone where the Revenue Assurance and Tax Monitoring system has been connected to all the four telecommunication companies and are being run live.

The Managing Director of SUBA Info solutions Ghana, Birendra Sasmal, who returned from Sierra Leone over the weekend, in an interview with the New Crusading Guide  said the technology and services being provided by SUBAH in sierra Leon have been well embraced by the government  and the National Telecommunication Agency in the country.

He said currently three out of the four telecommunication companies are running the system in sierra Leone with the aim of detecting and flushing out SIMBOX fraud, blocking revenue leakages and increasing revenue for national development

“Guinea is already running the system and they introduced it to sierra Leon on realizing the  huge benefits. Currently, we are participating in an international Bidding in Mozambique and the prospects are high” he stated.

Subah won the International Gateway Monitoring Contract in Guinea in 2015 and followed with another contract in Sierra Leone in 2016.

The company has been short listed in the bidding process in Mozambique for the provision of same services. Significantly, these signal the maturity of Ghana’s private sector to compete within the global market.

“The system is being embraced across Africa because it is Africa’s solution from Africa. This is a technology made from Ghana to help solve Africa’s Problems”.

“In Sierra Leone, we entered into an international competitive bidding with 10 companies and SUBAH was selected based on its technology, capability and experience in the sector. The Government of Sierra Leone is pleased with the running of our huge data center and we are working to expand our territories  and investments.

“The ultimate goal of this solution is to enhance government revenue, through the application of appropriate technology to mitigate and eliminate leakages.

Subah provides State-of-the-art telecom revenue auditing and verification solutions which have a distributed and scalable multi-threaded architecture that supports multi-vendor and multi-technology networks with multiple protocols and interfaces efficiently.

“Our goal is to enhance government revenue through the application of appropriate technology to mitigate and eliminate leakages”.

“Subah’s Revenue Monitoring service helps revenue mobilization institutions to ensure that all revenue generated by organizations is correctly billed or accounted for, and that the processes designed to support the revenue assurance function are working as efficiently as possible. Our technology collects data from a variety of sources to manage a wide range of revenue assurance challenges” he added.

Subah is currently working with the Regulatory Organ for Telecommunications in Equatorial Guinea (ORTEL)  and  has established a system that is independently monitoring and measuring all forms of telecommunications and interconnect traffic.

The  aim is to support Telecom Regulators in Africa and around the world to address the critical challenges with regards to revenue monitoring and assurance in the telecom sector and also provide all the key benefits associated with having such a system in place.
