Chic Ghana holds seminar

CHIC Ghana Limited, authorized CHIC products distributor for Africa, has held a seminar for the Professional Staff Association of the Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) to enable them learn about techniques to weatherproof buildings as well as the features of the company's premier product. The occasion marked the first anniversary celebration of the company's entrance into the Ghanaian market with the CHIC liquid vinyl product, a co-polymer coating system, used for cleaning the surface and protecting exterior walls. Mr Kofi Boateng, Chief Executive of the company, said the product is very conducive for the African weather and outlast conventional paint because while paint is only meant to last a few years, CHIC is engineered to last as long as technology would allow. "CHIC liquid vinyl is a complete vinyl coating system that beautifies and protects the exterior walls of homes and commercial buildings, lasting far longer than commercial paint applications. "So far our customers in the past year seem very pleased with the quality of our work and the results achieved with the CHIC product, the beautiful colours and the extreme protection against the elements," he added. Mr Boateng explained that the real value of the CHIC Liquid Vinyl System is in its superior performance and has earned a reputation for getting the job done even in the most demanding environments. "For most applications, a very attractive and long lasting choice that effectively weatherproofs the exterior walls. Lasting several times longer than conventional paint, and thus more effective and affordable in the long run, the product is low maintenance and comes with a life long warranty," he said. LIQUID VINYL was originally developed in the United Kingdom during the mid 1960s for both the commercial and residential markets as an extremely thick liquid applied coating system designed to provide long-term protection for all types of stucco, masonry, and wood surfaces. In 24 years the CHIC Liquid Vinyl System has been successfully used to protect 7000 homes, commercial, and industrial buildings, with approximately 15 million square feet of surface area installed.
