The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev Dr. Paul Yaw Frimpong-Manso, has urged Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to continue the good work God is doing through him.

He disclosed this while speaking during a church activity on family health in Accra where the Vice President was represented by Augustine Blay, his Secretary.

The clergyman spoke about a variety of items, not forgetting malaria, which he said is caused by filth and indiscipline on the part of citizens.

Government, he said, must encourage people to stop littering the environment so that mosquitoes do not breed and spread the disease.

He assured the government of his church’s support in the fight against ‘galamsey.’

The clergyman urged government to consider resorting to the use of equipment and spot fines to stem the tide of overspeeding, as opposed to speed ramps which are expensive to put up.
