The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Youth Authority, Emmanuel Asigri, has encouraged Ghanaian youth to develop the interest in working with the agricultural sector to increase our patronage in made in Ghana goods.

In an exclusive interview with Nana Yaw Fianko, the host of ATV's Asem Yi Di Ka, Mr. Emmanuel Asigri, expressed his disappointment in our taste for foreign products and exhibited to viewers, some products which Ghanaians in the diaspora purchase most but do not have a taste for it when they are sold in the country.

"We will fully support any youth who decides to learn any handy work in Ghana", Mr. Emmanuel Asigri said.

Moving on, the head of National Youth Authority encouraged the Ghanaian youth to be very serious with their handy work and noted that “it may earn them enough income as compared to white colored job.”

He also continued that Ghanaians must develop taste for Ghana made foods to empower the youth in the agricultural sector to increase production.
