Let’s Rally To Develop The Ga State

Nii Adu Aryeetey III, Dzasetse of Korle We, has called on the chiefs and people of Ga Mashie to come together to develop the Ga State.

He said chieftaincy disputes have hindered the development of many communities for far too long and dialogues are needed for opposing parties to sort their concerns.

Nii Aryeetey III made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Korle We.

The media was there to observe the customary rites being performed by Numo Ayitey Cobblah III, Korle Wulomo, as part of the Homowo festival.

Nii Aryeetey expressed the hope that bitterness and squabbles among the people of Korle We have ended to pave way for the development of the community.

He urged chiefs to ensure that the spirit of togetherness exists among them at all times.
He said “it is sad to observe that lack of commitment, apathy and poor sense of duty still lingers on among the people of Ga Mashie”.

Nii Aryeetey advised the Korle Wulomo to show respect to all who come his way and carry himself in a way that would bring honour to the Korle We Stool.

Numo Cobblah III also pledged to provide a unifying leadership role and revive the spirit of togetherness amongst the indigenes of Korle We.
