Youth urged to help fight environmental clutter

The youth have been urged to support the campaign to rid the country of filth to prevent diseases. Mr Francis Kasuh, member of Achievers International Movement, a student group at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), made the call after members had undertaken a clean-up exercise at the Ejisu Government Hospital. He urged the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to enforce by-laws on environmental sanitation and the youth to educate the public on personal hygiene. Mr Agyemin Boateng, Principal Medical Assistant at the hospital, commended the group for undertaking the exercise. He asked Ghanaians to lead healthy life styles and ensure that they observe personal hygiene to avoid getting ill. The students donated fruit drinks to the hospital.
