Let’s Unite To Take Nation To New Heights - Dr. Tetteh

Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, an international evangelist, has rallied Ghanaians to overcome their political differences and work together to take the nation to new heights.

He said everybody should accept to have a part to play in the implementation of the programmes designed to sustain the country on the path of growth.

“We need a united front to accomplish our aspirations as a people. Let us do away with political divisions and anything that tend to hold back our progress”.

He added that the national interest should be put ahead of any other consideration.

Dr. Tetteh was speaking at media briefing on a three-day international revival programme to be jointly hosted by the Kumasi Diocesan Anglican Church and Worldwide Miracle Outreach.

The huge gathering of the clergy, traditional authorities, statesmen, politicians and other professionals would discuss ways of lifting many out of poverty and pray for God’s continued blessing of peace.

Three former Presidents – Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama, and the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, are expected to attend.

There would also be representatives from the Church of England and other European churches.

“Come and experience the power of Jesus Christ”, is the theme for this international revival, the first of its kind to be hosted in Kumasi.

Dr. Tetteh observed that “a prayerless nation is powerless as no meaningful development can be realized without God”.

“The solution and development we need, to improve the living conditions of the people lie in prayer since it is only God who can save His own people”, he stated.

He encouraged the church to pray for leaders of the nation because they needed divine guidance to govern justly and rightly.
