Black Stars Arrive In Kampala Ahead Of Uganda Clash

The Black Stars on Thursday evening arrived in Uganda ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifier.

A contingent made of players, officials and management members touched down in Uganda to continue their preparation for the crunch encounter.

The team had been in Kenya for the past four days preparing for the game against the Cranes.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his men will hold another training session at the Mandela Sports Stadium in Kampala today.

Ghana drew goalless with Uganda in the first leg match played at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars will be heading into the game on Saturday without several key players.

Captain Asamoah Gyan will not lead the team this time around due to injury.

His deputy Andre Ayew together with his brother Jordan Ayew were all excluded from the squad.

Winger Thomas Agyapong, Christian Atsu, Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful have all been ruled out of the came with injuries.
