Ghanaians urged to have faith in Mills

The Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Mohammed Boakye-Agyemang, has urged Ghanaians to continue to have faith in the Mills Administration. The Government, he said, was taking the nation on the right direction and needed to be encouraged and supported to make life better for all. Mr Boakye-Agyemang was interacting with the Muslim Community in Juaben during a tour of the area. He told them that government would work hard to achieve all of its election promises and asked for patience as it fixed the economy. "We are not going to disappoint the nation", he said. The MCE drew the attention of the Muslims to the need for all to help to sustain the peace and harmony of the country. They should desist from violence, he said, pointing out that Ghana could not afford to waste its limited resources on conflicts. Mr Boakye-Agyemang encouraged them to be law-abiding and lead morally upright lives to project a positive image of Islam. He said the just-ended Eid-ul-Adha should inspire them to dedicate themselves to the cause of humanity.
