Baby Jet Airlines: Asamoah Gyan Obtains License For Airline Company

The captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has obtained a license from the government of Ghana, to operate an airline company in the country, President Akufo-Addo has disclosed.

Akufo-Addo made this known at the 2017 African Airshow currently ongoing at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
 
The President said: “I have been reliably informed that the captain of our senior national team, the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, Baby Jet has obtained a carrier license and is working feverishly to establish an airline obviously called, Baby Jet Airline".

Aircrafts belonging to the airline called Baby Jet Airlines are expected to hit the runway soon.

Reports suggest that the company will commence operations with cargo handling, before expanding subsequently to airlift travellers.

Gyan recently signed for Kayerispor in the Turkish Super League after a stint with Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League and already owns a total of 18 companies.

He has interests in music production, entertainment with his Asa Band (as well as his personal music career) and event management (JetLink Events & Logistics).

Gyan has also invested in companies importing food (Mama Vits Noodles and Rice), boxing promotion (Baby Jet Promotions), water (Paradise Pac), transport, real estate, mining and student hostels.

Gyan, 31, is the all-time leading goalscorer of the senior national team (Black Stars) with 51 goals.
