Mensah wins Stanbic AFCON 2010 Raffle

Francis Mensah, a customer of the Airport Branch of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited is the proud winner of the Stanbic AFCON 2010 Raffle Draw held on Wednesday, December 2, at the Alisa Hotel, Accra. For his prize, Mensah and his partner will embark on an all expenses paid trip bank to Angola to watch the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations, from January 10-31 under the sponsorship of the Bank. John Ameho of Accra Main Branch of the Bank won the second prize and will receive a flat screen colour television set with the third prize going to Ethel Akua Danquah Ammisah who has as her prize a Black Berry mobile phone. The draw also selected 17 other winners out of the 18,000 entries for the competition all of who will receive various prizes from the Bank as their reward. Mawuko Afadzinu, Head of Marketing and Public Relations of Stanbic said the competition is a demonstration of the Bank's commitment to soccer as the passion of the nation. He said the Bank is looking forward to rolling out better services in the coming years to confirm their position as the leading bank in the country. Afadzinu noted that plans are in place to open Stanbic viewing centers across the country to give other soccer fans the opportunity to share the fun of the competition. He said other winners of the competition will be given a special invitation to watch matches at the viewing centers.
