Horrific Murder At Kasoa … Woman Beheaded, Heart, Breast Missing

The police have started investigations into circumstances surrounding the mystery of a beheaded woman, found at Kasoa Amanfrom Quarters Junction, in the Central Region.

The heart and breast of the deceased were missing, when the body was found in a sack stained with blood

The Greater Accra Regional Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Efia Tenge, who confirmed the story, said on November 18, a man who went for jogging saw a sack stained with blood, and reported to the police.

According to her, the police went to the scene, and found a sack and when it was opened; they found the body of a woman without head, heart and breast.

ASP Tenge said that the body has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue in Accra, for autopsy, adding that the police have intensified efforts to arrest those behind the crime.

“Police personnel have been deployed to the area, with half of them patrolling the vicinity to maximise security and reduce criminal activities there,” she said

ASP Tenge said the police have engaged Kasoa Amanfrom Quarters Junction residents to locate the family of the deceased.

“Since there was no head attached to the body it is difficult to identify the deceased, so we are calling on the leaders and the general public to help us identify the body. If you have noticed that your sister, wife or mother has been away and not returned please, contact us”, she said.

It would be recalled that in recent time, Kasoa has been noted for land guard activities and other crimes.

On November 13, 2017, a receptionist was raped and killed at Peace Guest House, in Koasa.

A 52-year-old driver was also attacked and stoned to death after disagreements over a change.
