Hearts Of Oak Defender Vincent Atinga Declared Free Agent

Defender Vincent Atinga is now free to join any Club of his choice after securing his floating status.

The player was handed his request by the player status committee of the Ghana Football Association following the expiration of his contract with Hearts of Oak.

Atinga refused a contract extension with the Rainbow Club at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has now been declared free and can join any Club of his choice without the influence of his former Club (Hearts of Oak).

The Black Stars B center-back is already on his way to Austria to join FK Austria Vienna.

Atinga joined the former Ghana Champions three seasons ago from Ebusua Dwarfs and has since shot to the limelight.

He played a big role by scoring three goals to help the home-based Club Stars team win  the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations.

His performance and consistency earned him an invite to the main Black Stars team where he made his debut in an international friendly against Saudi Arabia last Month.

The tough defender has now decided to seek greener pastures as he looked forward to a new challenge after paying his dues at Hearts of Oak.
