Congratulation To Ghanaians For 25 Years Of Stable Democratic Governance System

On the occasion of the celebration of the 25th Year Anniversary of the Fourth Republic, the Office of Fred Amankwah-Sarfo wish to congratulate the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, the Government and People of the Republic of Ghana, The Chairmen and Leadership of all political parties, Civil Society Organizations and development partners a very happy 25th Year Anniversary of Ghana's Democratic governance.

The promulgation of the 1992 Constitution under the leadership of Ex. President H.E. J. J. Rawlings, ushered Ghana into multiparty democracy after series of military disruptions on our governance systems. We join all Ghanaians home and abroad to congratulate a nation on mission.

Ghana has successfully conducted relatively free and fair elections leading to peaceful transitions of power from one democratically elected leader to another.

This has cemented the status of Ghana as the beacon of democracy in the Sub-Saharan region and the Africa continent.

As the country enjoys the advantages of multiparty democracy, rule of law, human rights and the abolition of criminal libel laws and a peaceful democratic governance, the need to accelerate our development by expanding the economy is the new focus. The dividends of a democratic civil state should manifest.

Let us together cherish and celebrate the glory of our country. Let us pray that the culture, integrity and the unity of our country live forever. Congratulations on the 25 years of democratic rule.

Long live Ghana
Long live multiparty democracy
