Renovations works at the Accra Sports Stadium have begun ahead of the 2018 African Women’s Championship.
The Accra Sports Stadium have been in a sorry state for some time now.
The arena have not been refurbished since its renovation back in 2008 for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports have thus given the go ahead of work to begin at the edifice.
With just two weeks to the start of the Ghana Premier League, Accra Hearts of Oak and Inter-Allies who will be playing the arena will now have to look for a new home venue before the season begins.
