I Don't Have Bodyguards...

Bishop Charles Agyinasare, presiding Bishop and Founder of Perez Chapel International has touted himself as one of the most approachable pastors in the country.

He boasted that he is accessible contrary to rumours that he had four bodyguards around him for protection.

He sounded surprised and wondered why such allegations would be levelled against him.

"Is that right?" he quizzed, So when you came, how did you get in? he continued in amazement.

The revered Bishop stressed that he was one few people in the country with office who people can meet at their request at any point in time.

"I think that I'm one of the few people you can go to their office same day and see and people are testament to that if I had bodyguards you couldn't come close," he retorted.

Contrary to the perception of people and pictures on social media suggesting he moves with at least a bodyguard, Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International debunked that but confessed to having aides around him who assist him in times of need.

"I don't have bodyguards. I have aides who help me. When we go into our meetings, people are falling, things are happening and there are people who help me so I have people who help me as my aides," he justified.

He was talking to Kwabena Kyenkyenhene Boateng on 21minutes with KKB, a talk show on Ghanaweb.

Bishop Agyinasare also stressed that he was a true prophet based on the guidelines provided in the scriptures.

He explained, "I think that the evidence is clear because there are qualifications of a 'Man of God'. I think if you look at the qualifications according to 1 Timothy chapter 3 from verse 1, you will see that I meet them."

Bishop Agyinasare will be marking his 35th anniversary in ministry with an annual crusade organised by the Perez Chapel International.
