A Special aide to the Brong Ahafo Region regional Minister, Maxwell Mahama has described NPP’s Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as ‘Abronye DC’ as a “goat” for his quest to contest NPP’s regional chairmanship position in the region.

Maxwell believes the controversial Abronye is unfit for the position he is vying for after his flyer popped up in a WhatsApp group to canvas vote for him.

“So this foolish Abronye, a goat too you support him?” the Minster’s aide quizzed fellow group members.

Early last year, Abronye DC hinted that he may contest for the National Youth Organiser position but information available to Peacefmonline.com indicte that there is heavy pressure on him to contest for the Brong Ahafo Regional 1st Vice Chairmanship position by majority of the party members in the Region.

The NPP regional party communicators described Abronye DC as “a gem, a mover and a powerful politician” in the Region who is a suitable person for the regional 1st Vice Chairmanship position.

According to them, “His [Abronye DC] energy, passion, love, unflinching commitment and dedication to the NPP can never be in doubt”.
