News of Ebony's passing has left me devastated. Such a young, promising life cut short by a road accident.

I recall my recent encounter with her at Peace FM and I was surprised by the aura of calmness she carried; a sharp contrast to the exuberance that accompanied her stage performances. Almost 21 years of age, how sad.

This painful loss is yet another reason why we should, as a Nation, face this 'monster' of road accidents with all seriousness. We can't continue to lose lives in this manner.

I am sad and pray her soul finds rest with her Maker.
