Kennedy Agyapong To Name 22 NDC MPs Who Received Double Salary Under Mahama?

The outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Central Region, Kennedy Agyapong has threatened to expose some twenty-two National Democratic Congress(NDC) MPs who were paid double salaries during the erstwhile Mahama led administration.

Akompreko as he is affectionately called dropped the hint while speaking on Oman FM’s political analysis programme Boiling Point on Thursday night.

He said two of the said opposition MPs are his very good friends which is his major problem otherwise he would have released their names long ago.

While condemning the said MPs for the act, Mr Agyapong also took swipe at his own government for failing to deal with corrupt former appointees of the Mahama administration.

He argued that the delay in prosecuting the corrupt former appointees is what has emboldened them to launch a scathing attack on the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.

“These people who have been very wicked to the people of this country yet have the nerves to attack Ken Ofori-Atta,” he said.

Ken Agyapong mentioned that he has a dossier on properties in UK, South Africa and other places which were acquired by some Minority MPs including former Deputy Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson using illegal means.

He said he is saddened that these same MPs have the guts and even gone ahead to plot the downfall of the Finance Minister.

He explained that one of the NDC MPs has a girlfriend in South Africa, stressing that “This lady is the one who has been given the Minority information about Ken Ofori-Atta.”

“I don’t even know whether the information is credible,” he stated.
