The mother of dancehall artiste, Ebony has disclosed that she is completely shattered by the sudden demise of her daughter.

According to Madam Beatrice Oppong, she received the devastating news of her daughter barely two hours after living her house after visiting her in Brong Ahafo.

Speaking exclusively to UTV at the one week celebration, Ebony’s mother who was visibly broken said she has lost everything she has worked hard for.

“I’m shattered by Ebony’s death. It is not easy to lose your daughter just within two hours after walking saying bye bye to you. I am broken by her death,” Madam Oppong said as monitored by YEN.com.gh.

Ebony’s mother added that the sudden demise of Ebony her daughter has left her devastated but believing God will heal her pains.

On his part, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, the father of Ebony maintained that, he is only managing since the death of his daughter.

Nana Opoku indicated that it will be a difficult thing for him to live on without the presence of his lovely daughter, Ebony.

“In fact it has not been easy with me without Ebony. I’m only managing without my daughter, Ohemaa,” he said.

Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, aka Ebony died together with her bodyguard, and a close friend Franky Kuri on February 8, this year.

Meanwhile, her one week celebration is currently underway at Dansoman in Accra for to schedule the final funeral arrangement for the late singer.

Ebony took Ghana music by storm within the spate of two years with a number of hit songs and died at the age of 20 years.
