The Bekwai Womens' wing of the New Patriotic Party, celebrated yesterday's May Day event by cleaning up the government hospital situated in the area.
The leader of the womens' wing who also doubles as the Constituency women organizer, Madam Maame Yaa Ameyaa, urged women to always ensure their environment is kept clean to avoid the outbreak of strange diseases.
She also urged women tot to live exemplary lives and avoid indecent exposure of their bodies. Madam Maame Yaa Ameyaa noted that it was better for women to uphold our cultural values rather than emulate or adopt foreign culture which will turn out to destroy us.
