Alhaji Short Joins Greater Accra NPP Oneness Walk

Thousands of supporters and sympathizers of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on May 1, 2018, joined in health walk on the street of Ayi Mensah to Peduase to unite and rebuild the party’s Greater Accra region after the party’s regional elections.

The Unity Walk forms part of the strategies by the regional executives to re-organize the grassroots and support to position NPP well as the obvious political party going into the 2020 general elections.

The peaceful health walk was themed: "United In Vision; United For Victory".

In attendance was aspiring NPP National Chairman, Alhaji Abubakari Abdul-Rahman (Alhaji Short) who took time off his busy schedule to join Greater Accra NPP in the fitness walk.

Alhaji Short used the opportunity to congratulate all the newly elected executives and also wished all workers in Ghana a happy workers day.

“I would like to congratulate our newly elected regional executives for their hard work and also wish all workers in Ghana a happy Workers Day, Ghana is really proud of your hard work.”

Alhaji Short, added that, “Indeed, Patriotism is having the conviction that anything your party is doing is more important than any other thing.”

The huge crowd of supporters and well-wishers of Alhaji Short were seen dressed in the branded T-shirts of “Alhaji Short”, showing how he (Alhaji Short) has being accepted by the party faithful.

However, Alhaji Short was the only National Chairman aspirant who participated in the Greater Accra “Oneness walk" and this show how deep he is involved in grassroots work.
