Educating Public On Radio Is Part Of Kusi Boafo’s Duties – Nana B Replies Brogya

Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye has downplayed calls for the dismissal of Mr. Kusi Boafo as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public Sector Reforms just because he appears on radio and Television quite frequently.

Of course when he travels to Kumasi and he is supposed to talk and educate the public, he goes on radio or TV. It is part of his mandate. He must educate the people in order to expose the rot in the NDC. He is a communicator and a lecturer as well, ” Nana B said in a radio interview with King Edward the Slave on Hello Fm in Kumasi on Wednesday.

This was in a direct response to the Ashanti Youth Regional Organizer of the NDC Mr. Brogya Genfi who said he does not know the role played by the appointee and called for his dismissal claiming he does not deserve to receive salary as he spends most of his time on radio programs.

There is nothing that man (Kusi Boafo) is doing to help Ghana and one of the 998 people is Mr. Kusi Boafo, it’s a total waste,” Brogya Genfi earlier said.

But Nana B on the other hand responded that, Brogya Genfi’s claims are baseless without any merit which is borne out of sheer hatred.

The fact is that, how many times does Mr. Boafo even speak on Kumasi Radio?” He quizzed

I have visited Mr. Boafo severally in his office and looking at documents and programs he attends indicate he is working. It is appropriate for him to expose corruption on the side of officials of the National Democratic Congress NDC. He needs to make it known to the public”, Nana B chided.

According to him, Genfi’s behavior manifests that, the opposition NDC is very uneasy with the way he conducts himself and therefore they are resorting to various schemes to have him fired in order for them to get some respite.

They are unable to stand him. The man is intelligent, he reads wide. The NDC’s don’t like reading hence they shiver whenever they meet people like Kusi Baofo”. Nana argued

He further said the NDC executive must be ignored.
