Delta Force Member 'Dumps' NPP; Joins NDC... Accuses Party Of Being Ungrateful

Ernest Appiah Danquah, a leading member of New Patriotic Party (NPP) vigilante group in the Ashanti Region, Delta Force has accused the party of neglect indicating it is the reason for which he has moved into the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr Danquah who is now the operations director of the ‘The Hawks’ another vigilante group belonging to the NDC said his relationship with the NPP is over and nothing will compel him to change his mind.

“I am no longer a member of the NPP and Delta Force. I am not part of any activity they embark on because I am no longer their member. I took part in the NDC Unity Walk in the Ashanti Region and will help the NDC to win power in 2020”, he disclosed on Happy Fm in Accra.

According to him, the NPP has nothing to offer him because they were promised jobs which never happened and that there are other members of Delta Force who are aggrieved and want to quit the group.

“There was an agreement they will give us jobs when the party wins power. But they keep tossing us as though we are children. We are all at home jobless and people are angry because we are unable to put food on the table. I have done a critical examination and I can see there is no way they can be of help to us”, he disclosed.

“Kwadwo Bamba who is the Organiser of Delta Force has been employed at National Security and is at Flagstaff House but we are still here jobless. I took part in the NDC Unity Walk and claims by him I was only passing by is not true”, he stressed.

He urged his colleagues who are still with the NPP and Delta force to struggle for jobs because the labored for the party’s victory and deserve to be rewarded for their effort.

Meanwhile, Kwadwo Bamba has expressed disappointment in the decision of his former colleague and indicated that there are efforts to deal with the situation.

“There is a small problem which I did not believe but we will sit down and discuss with him in order to resolve the matter. He has been given fake promises by the NDC and that is what has misled him to want to join the NDC. He should be reminded the opposition has nothing to offer him”, he advised.
