Patience Nyarko Replies George Quaye For Telling Her To Compete In 'Mentor'

Right after the 19th edition of the Ghana Music Awards which occurred on April 14 at the Accra International Center, gospel singer Patience Nyarko angrily talked against the scheme and opined that even TV3’s Mentor is credible than it.

Her words on an Accra-based radio station received a reply from George Quaye, the PRO for the awards scheme who also asked the songstress to compete in the talent show since she finds it more trustworthy than the Charterhouse-organised event.

Patience Nyarko after Mr. Quaye’s directive did not speak again since she was waiting for the right time to also respond to his instruction.

The ‘Obi Nyane Me’ hitmaker in a recent interview on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix program has thrown subtle shots at George Quaye. Patience Nyarko in a mischievous response on the Angel TV show described the Taxi Driver actor’s comments as normal.

The outspoken gospel star further divulged that she will halt her music career and join the next mentor audition so that she can polish her songs and submit it in the subsequent years.

She opined that Mentor reality show lectures musicians on how to deliver when they are in the booth recording songs and it also improves their stagecraft so George Quaye’s suggestion to her is not a bad one.

Patience Nyarko again on the show hosted by Zionfelix entreated her fellow artistes to voice out when organisers of Ghana Music Awards goof instead of keeping mute for them to maltreat Ghanaian musicians.

The musician later opined that most musicians keep quiet over the mistakes organizers of the awards commit because they are afraid to be sidelined.
