John Boadu Begins His Brong Ahafo Regional Campaign Tour

The National Organizer and Acting General Secretary of the governing NPP, John Boadu has on Tuesday, May 8, begun his Brong Ahafo Regional campaign tour where he is expected to visit each of the 29 constituencies in the region.

Before beginning his tour, John Boadu, in the early hours of Tuesday, joined His Excellency President Akufo-Addo and other leading members of government to grace the funeral rites of the late Omanhene of Drobo Traditional Area, Beyeeman Bosea Gyinantwi IV in Drobo, in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The essence of his resolve to visit each of the constituencies, according to John Boadu, is to among other things; assess the current state of the party particularly the relationship between party and government in every constituency.

His tour is also to afford him an opportunity to interact with the constituency executives together with their MMDCEs with his message of grassroots empowerment and strengthening of party structures for victory 2020 and beyond.

This, he said, should be the basis why the discerning delegates of the party should give him a 100% endorsement in his quest to becoming the party's General Secretary, having also amply demonstrated stupendous qualities and proven track record when it comes to delivering results for the party.

The Acting Chief Scribe, on Day 1 of his campaign tour in the Brong Ahafo, visited the Berekum West, Berekum East, Tano South, Tano North and Sunyani East Constituencies. He never missed an opportunity to make a strong commitment to assisting in the construction of permanent party offices in each of the constituencies he visited, while assuring the executives of plans to adequately resource them to effectively discharge their mandate.

On their part, the constituency executives assured John Boadu of their unflinching support and 100% endorsement at the 2018 national annual delegates conference scheduled for June in the eastern regional capital.
