Lady Julia Makes A Case For Improved Healthcare....As World-Class Health Facility Is Commissioned

The wife of the Asantehene, Lady Julia, has urged managers of Advanced Diagnostic and Heart Centre to make their services available to the less privileged and children in the Ghanaian society.

The health facility managed and operated by Euracare, a member of the CFAO Group, offers international high-level health services with a key focus on patient care and outcome.

The CFAO Group, a global player in both the automotive and pharmaceutical industries, set up Euracare to provide Ghanaians with a world-class medical service they have too often had to obtain overseas.

The project has created a cutting-edge technological platform enabling Ghanaians and Diasporan surgeons to conduct minimally-invasive procedures in the fields of neurological, gastrointestinal, orthopaedic, vascular and urological surgeries.

At a colourful ceremony attended by former President John Kufuor and other dignitaries to officially commission the project in Accra, Lady Julia said without good medical care, the country may lose its human capital and urged the working class especially to patronize the services of Euracare.

She, however, made two three appeals: “I wish to encourage Euracare to consider extending their services to others parts of the country especially Kumasi my home region, also make your services available to the less privileged and children needing special care as part of your social responsibility programmes.”
