Former President, John Dramani Mahama has donated a sum of GH10,000 to the family of the late Asonaba Kweku Darko, popularly known as Super OD.
The announcement was made by the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs at the final funeral rites of Super OD which was held at Swedru-Abodom in the Central Region over the weekend.
The former President who was at the funeral of the late renowned comedian received a rapturous welcome from NDC and non-NDC faithfuls at the funeral.
The former president was accompanied by Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Allotey Jacobs, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, National Organiser, Kofi Adams, Appiah Stadium, among others.
