NPP Needs New General Secretary To Make Things Right In The Party- Richard Ahiagbah

General Secretary hopeful for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, joined many party faithful and bigwigs to mourn and observe the final funeral rites of NPP's great Appiah Minka in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

Mr. Ahiagbah told Kessben FM that, Mr. Minka's life is exemplary in many ways especially, his love and dedication for the NPP, is worth emulating.

Mr. Richard Ahiagbah took advantage of the funeral rite of the late Appiah Minka to address a meeting with Ashanti Region youth organizers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He told the youth to be rest assured that change is coming to make things right at the General Secretaryship.

The General Secretary aspirant told the excited youth organizers that, "Ashanti Region will continue to be the heartbeat of the party, but we need to urgently start protecting the stronghold lest we appear to be taking the confidence of the people for granted".

The candidate therefore appealed to the youth organizers of Ashanti Region to embrace his campaign as if he was a candidate from the region as such a support for him, will deepen the bond with the Volta Region as well as nurture the growth of the NPP in Volta.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Richard told the youth organizers that, he is a grassroots person, and thus understand the plight of the grassroots; therefore, they should discount the cheap politics that focuses on popularity as opposed to substance to measure the next General Secretary.
