I’m Not Disappointed In Nana Addo – Lucky Mensah

Lucky Mensah has said he does not regret campaigning for President Akufo-Addo to win the 2016 presidential elections.

He made this known while speaking in an interview on Rainbow Radio over the weekend.

“Campaigning for Nana Addo affected my career in a way but I’m not disappointed,” he stated and described ex-President John Mahama’s administration as a “failure.”

Lucky, who was a well-known sympathiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), disowned the NDC leading up to the 2016 general elections, asserting that the then President Mahama failed woefully to lead the nation’s development agenda, subjecting many into economic hardship and sufferings.

He later visited Nana Akufo-Addo’s residence and presented a copy of his ‘Yeresesamu’ track to him in September 2016 to support the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2016 election campaign.

Nana Addo, who won the election, has been in office for a year and five months and it appears Lucky Mensah is okay.

He emphasized that the leadership of Mahama did not bring the needed policies to change the lives of citizens, and described his leadership as “incompetent.”

That, he explained, was the reason he decided to abandon the NDC to join the campaign team of Nana Akufo-Addo.

‘’I decided to campaign for Akufo-Addo because Mahama was failing Ghanaians. He was not providing the needed leadership that was needed to give Ghanaians better opportunities,” he revealed.

“The way dumsor was affecting Ghanaians was terrible and so I decided to return to Ghana from Canada so I could campaign for Nana Addo to provide a better leadership and alleviate the economic hardship of Ghanaians,” he added.
