Wontumi Apologises To Dominic Eduah

My attention has been drawn to news article circulating on several social media platforms as well as news portals and purportedly coming from the camp of Mr. Dominic Eduah, a National Youth Organiser aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, to the effect that Mr Aduah and his campaign machinery are least pleased with sections of my interview on OKAY FM in Accra recently.

In a spirit of fairness, I humbly use this avenue to unreservedly, apologize to Mr. Eduah, for any reservations, dissatisfaction and or anger that he may harbor as a result of the interaction I had on the Accra-based Fm.

I have nothing against the person of Dominic Eduah, his ambition or any other person making themselves available for the impending elections. I also do recognize their individual rich experiences and knowledge which will undoubtedly fast track the forward movement of our party, irrespective of who becomes the eventual winner of the race.

Dominic has been a deputy to Sammi Awuku and leading the youth wing of our party is never a misplaced priority. I do remember stating unequivocally that the battle is a straight race between Nana B and Dominic, and that is solely personal opinion I hold.

What I said on OKAY FM was quite clear and simple: I only advised that since Nana B and Dominic are brothers and key to the party’s 2020 victory agenda, it is only appropriate that the two team up for the good of our party.

I did not state that Dominic should step down to deputize Nana B. For me, it is better not to lose the two or create friction for their supporters and party. This was what I said during the interview. I strongly believe my statement has deliberately been twisted just to cause dissatisfaction between myself and Aduh.

I do once again apologize to Mr. Eduah for any pain caused his person or ambition. I wish him well.
