Controversial artiste, Kwame Asare Obeng affectionately called A Plus has released venom on people threatening legal suits against him.

A Plus, in a Facebook rant, says such people are nothing but "idiots" who want to cowed him into submission with their threats.

According to him, he is not an afraid of being arraigned before court, describing himself as a "wild lion".

Communications Minister, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has asked for an unqualified apology from the controversial musician cum politician saying if she will proceed to court if he refuses to comply with the directive.

"We are informed that you (A Plus) have published series of defamatory statements on Facebook about our client ostensibly to tarnish her hard won reputation and to reduce her image in the eyes of right thinking members of society...We are instructed to notify you that our client takes a serious view of your defamatory publication on Facebook and would not hesitate to commence legal action against you if the said publication is not retracted on or before Friday, 1st June, 2018.

"Please be informed that if you fail to retract and apologize to our client on or before Friday, 1st June, 2018, we shall proceed to court..." a statement by her Solicitors read.

The Minister, through her Counsel "Safo and Marfo@Law", has given A Plus an ultimatum of three (3) days to "render unqualified apology in the same medium and prominence in the manner that your libelous publication was done" and retract his statements or will be dragged to court to "vindicate our client's rights without any further recourse to you".

Also, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye has given A Plus seven (7) days to retract and apologize for defaming him or he too will proceed to court.

Solicitors for the Deputy Chief of Staff, A-partners @ law in a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com asked the musician to retract through the "same publicity and prominence as the defamatory claims and must be unequivocal, unconditional and subject to the prior approval of our client and his Solicitors.

"We have firm instructions to, without further notice to you and upon your failure, neglect or refusal to fully satisfy our client's demands herein, take out a suit and hold you, and such as are carelessly and maliciously repeating the false claims, liable".

But A Plus has rubbished the threats by both parties, stating emphatically that "...Any idiot can go to court!!!"

"...for those saying I've been sued, for your information I've been sued since 1999.... even Richard Annane threatened to sue me. Any idiot can go to court!!!”
