CONFIRMED.....Nana Addo Dissolves Entire GFA Leadership

Peacefmonline.com can confirm that President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has dissolved the entire hierarchy of the Ghana Football Association.

The shocking news, comes barely 24 hours after ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, together with his investigative firm, Tiger Eye PI and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), publicly screened his latest investigative piece which documents rampant bribery and corruption in the game of football.

Sports Minister and MP for Atwima Mponua, Hon Isaac Asiamah, confirmed the news a short while ago.

According to the minister, government has "referred the matter and all the officials involved to the security agencies for appropriate action".

The President has already filed a complaint at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, a couple of weeks ago after watching a part of the documentary before its premiere.

Revelations in Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest piece titled ‘#Number 12: When Greed and Corruption Become a Norm’, has left many Ghanaians in a state of complete shock and sheer anger at how a game loved by the entire nation has been reduced to a money-making venture by some officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), including referees.

In the latest exposé which premiered on Wednesday, June 6, the embattled GFA boss is seen boasting about his close ties to the Presidency. He further alleges that Akufo-Addo sold his properties to defray costs accrued after winning the 2016 Elections.

In a meeting with Anas' Tiger Eye PI collaborators who posed as a businessman, Nyantakyi is captured soliciting sums of money on behalf the President ($5million), Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia ($3million), the Transport Minister, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah ($2 million) and his deputy Anthony Karbo ($1million).

He also stunningly claims that all road contracts in Ghana are inflated, stressing that 'overpasses' of the same standard conducted in New York and Ghana cost $70 million and $150 million respectively.
