Church of Christ holds 27th Annual Bible Camp

The 27th Annual Bible Camp of the Church of Christ, opened in Tema on Good Friday on the theme: "Growing A Healthy And Strong Church." The six-day meeting is being attended by the Youth of the Church nation-wide. During the period, the camp attendants would partake in lectures, panel discussions, bible quiz programmes, drama, sing-song, and games. Briefing newsmen at the Camp grounds at Tema Secondary School, Mr Philip Bening, National Organising Chairman, said it was aimed at strengthening members of the congregation spiritually. Mr Bening said the camp would also re-kindle wayward members, especially the little ones, to be firm and resolute in their faith. He urged parents to take advantage of the camp meetings to nurture their children in the fear of the Lord, so that they would grow up to become God-fearing and responsible adults. Topics for the Lectures include: "Child Training in this Contemporary World," "The Need for Effective Children Ministry," and "Developing Children Through Secular and Christian Education."
