Despite & Special Group Organizes Blood Donation Exercise & Health Fair On June 30
Despite & Special Group of Companies, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, is organizing their annual blood donation exercise to help restock the national blood bank.
This year's exercise will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the El-Wark Sports Stadium at 6 am.
There will also be a Health Fair which will include health screening activities such as blood donation, breast screening, eye testing and prostrate care among other health checks for the general public.
This event is expected to attract a large number of participants to donate blood and undergo various medical check-ups.
The exercise received a massive turnout which was held at the parade ground of the Police Training School at Tesano last year.
Scores of Ghanaians from all walks of life eagerly took part in the exercise which was climaxed with fun games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This year's blood donation and Health Fair will see various artistes like the "Angela" hit maker Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Mzvee, King Promise and others giving performances to the delight of the patrons.
