Award winning hip-pop artiste, Desmond Blackmore known in show business as D Black has described Wanlov de Kubolor as a joke.
According D Black, he is unperturbed by negative comments from Wanlov because he has never considered the FOKN Bois member serious.
“He’s a big brother to most of us but he is a joke” said D Black in an interview with Ghanaweb.
Though there has been a collaboration between them in time past, the Black Avenua Music boss shot down a possibility of another collaboration saying, “his [Wanlov’s] way of music is different from mine.”
It would be recalled that Wanluv the Kubolor in December 2016, described D Black as a terrible rapper. His comment was in reaction to a list - ‘Hottest GH Rappers’- released by MTV Base which had D-Black as one of the best rappers in Ghana.
According to the channel, the MTV Base Africa’s Hottest MCs in Ghana were Manifest, Sarkodie, Omar Sterling, EL, Pappy Kojo, Flowking Stone, Edem, Kojo Cue, Worlasi and D-Black.
But Wanlov claimed his sister, Deborah was even better than D Black. “There are many artistes which have been making music that should have been on the list instead of D-Black which are both relevant to 2016 and also better rappers than D-Black.” He tweeted.
