Massive Dismissals Hit EIB Network; 100 Staff To Be Laid Off

MyNewsGh can authoritatively report that one of Ghana’s biggest media empires headed by Nathan Kwabena Adisi aka Bola Ray has started laying off workers from a number of its outlets in Kumasi, Nkawkaw, Accra and Takoradi.

This also come on the heels of a freeze in plans by the organization that hitherto ruffled feathers with the Multimedia Group to open two new radio stations [Cool Fm and Super Fm] in Cape Coast and Tamale respectively.

On Monday, June 25, 2018 this portal gathered that more than 10 persons were given dismissal letters from its Kumasi-based Abusua and Ultimate Fms in the ongoing rationalization in order to cut down staff strength.

Sources told MyNewsGh.com that there is the possibility that some of the departments could be possibility shut down while management is exploring the opportunity of mergers to save cost.

Barring any last minute changes, the staff of Kasapa Fm, Starr Fm, GH One Tv and Heritage Newspaper who may be affected by the ongoing rationalization would receive their sack letters today and one-month salary in lieu of notice.
