It’s Showtime! Ken Premiers “Who Watches The Watchman”

Curious Ghanaians will this evening have the opportunity to watch the much awaited “Who watches the watchman” produced by Kennedy Agyapong, member of Parliament for Assin Central, which is promises to vividly show the alleged “dark” side of ace international investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The ‘Blockbuster’ will be premiered today June 27th at the forecourt of Oman FM, at Madina in Accra.

Already, there is a 35 million video on YouTube also dubbed “who watches the watchmen?” and it is not clear I’d that is the same video to be showed today. That video on YouTube, according to sources, was one of the works of Anas in 2009.

Anas was the one who did the recording himself and copies given to the Police CID and the court so it is laughable for anyone apart of that footage,” a source told the BBC news.

However, Mr. Agyapong says the video is his own version of secret recordings of how Anas Aremeyaw Anas, operates.

Making this known on Oman FM’s political talk progrmame – Boiling Point – on last Thursday, he reiterated his stance against the modus operandi of the ace investigative journalist and insisted that was why he has been motivated to expose him (Anas).

He promised his video will vindicate his stance on the matter and that it would be a happy moment for patrons at the forecourt of Oman FM when the video is shown.

Mr. Agyapong decision to release the video comes on the back of a very successful screening of an undercover documentary titled “Number 12 by Anans and his Tiger Eye PI team on corruption in Ghana football.

In the “Number 12 documentary former GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi was recorded suggesting that Mr. Kennedy Agyapong was given control of the Ministry of Transport as a reward for his campaign contributions to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
