Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has sued Oxy FM, CEO of Oxy FM, Alfred Kwame Larbi, Rainbow Radio and Ghanaweb for publishing false stories about Him.
For well over two weeks, the veteran broadcaster has been casting aspersions on the renowned man of God, for reasons best known to him.
DJ oxygen made allegations on GH Entertainment on Rainbow Radio, in reaction to an allegation that he was gay and having an affair with Rev. Owusu Bempah.
In an angry mood, the controversial radio owner disclosed on the show that, the man of God confronted him with a photo of a man with a striking resemblance of President Akufo-Addo, and the agenda was for him to come out public and say the man is the son of Nana Addo which he refused.
According to DJ Oxy, Prophet Badu Kobi bribed him and asked him to align himself with him to destroy President Akufo-Addo
It can be recalled that DJ Oxy in an interview on Rainbow radio claimed that Prophet Kobi gave him a photograph of a man with a striking resemblance to President Akuffo Addo.
The purpose was to publicly say that the man was an illegitimate son of President Nana Addo. This was in exchange for favours including a private jet from then President John Dramani Mahama.
But speaking on Happy FM, Prophet Badu Kobi strongly refuted these claims.
He said "I met DJ Oxy for the first time in 2017 so he couldn't have met me in 2016 before the election. All he is saying are lies. When I met him, the President had already been elected and sworn in. So how could I have had plans to cause the President to lose the 2016 election?" Prophet Badu Kobi quizzed.
In response to a question by the host about whether or not he was going to sue the DJ, he said "Yes I will sue him, my lawyers have taken up the issue and we will know truth of the matter."
