I Will Cause Anas's Arrest- Kennedy Agyapong.

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong says he will cause the arrest of ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

He says he has substantial evidence against him for receiving bribes and distributing it among some public officials to drop a case against a public official.

Speaking on Okay Fm's Ade Akye Abia programme, he indicated that Anas Aremeyaw Anas is not an agel sent from heaven as he wants people to believe and that he will go at every length to expose him.

"For giving bribes to those people, i will make sure he is arrested"

"After screening who watches the watchman, i'm of sound conviction that Anas Aremeyaw Anas, and the state prosecutor and others should be arrested and i will ensure that.

By the time am done with him, his boss Kweku Baako will not be able to defend him again," he added.

The Assin Central MP has vowed to strip Anas naked following the latter’s latest investigative piece, “Number 12,” which focuses on corruption in Ghana football.

According to Ken Agyapong, many people are backing him because of Anas’ treacherous and evil conducts.

Agyapong has questioned the strategy of Anas, saying the investigative journalist entraps his victims and later blackmail them for huge sums of money.

He repeated his claims that Anas demanded 150,000 dollars from disgraced ex-football chief, Kwesi Nyantakyi, to kill the Number 12 story.

Hundreds of curious Ghanaians from various parts of the country thronged the forecourt of Ken City Media in Accra to view the much anticipated video “Who watches the watchman”, produced by the Assin Central Member of parliament, Kennedy Agyapong in a quest to expose the rot of ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Before the premier of “Who watches the watchman”, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong in a brief interaction with the media said “for my film, I have pieced together several evidence from persons who have encountered a different Anas over the years.”

The video, in Kennedy Agyapong’s own version of secret recordings narrated how Anas operates undercover and also captures the journalist heard and seen negotiating an amount of money in a gold scam case dated way back to September 2009 in an unsecured place in Accra Newtown between one Mubarak and Baba Tunde as bribe to squash those caught on tape in very compromising situations.
