<<Print>>Former Chair of the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) Charlotte Osei has poured her sorrows out in mourning the death of the immediate past Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur.
Taking to Instagram on Friday morning, Mrs Osei said: “The former Vice President was a gentleman among gentlemen, always dignified and respectful of all others, regardless of their stature in life”.
Mr Amissah-Arthur passed away Friday morning at the 37 Military Hospital, where he was rushed to after collapsing at a gym.
The news comes to overshadow one that got the nation talking the previous night: the removal of Mrs Osei and two other commissioners from office by the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
But what is breaking the heart of Mrs Osei on Friday morning is the news of Mr AMissah-Arthur’s death.
“My heart is truly broken this morning by the very sudden and extremely sad passing away of HE Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur,” she wrote.
