The Annual Despite and Special Groups Health Fair is still ongoing at the El Wak multi-purpose stadium in Cantonments, a suburb of Accra with thousands of people still trooping in.

As early as 4am, some donors from as far as the Central Region, Ashanti Region and parts Western Region had arrived and formed a queue. Some had reportedly spent the night at the venue.

Sponsored by Hisense Ghana, Capital O2, Medi Moses Prostate Centre, Kokrokoo Charites, Sibakon Medical and Wellness Centre, Twellium Industries, Special Ice, Neat Foods, This Way Chocolate Drink, members of the general public are undergoing various health screening exercises like High Blood Pressure, checking of Body Mass Index (BMI), Knowing one's blood group, Eye Test, Diabetes, Breast Cancer screening, Prostate Cancer and others are donating blood.
