The Eastern Regional 2nd Vice Chairman of the NPP Mr. Twum Berimah has pleaded with Ghanaian youth especially the supporters of the party to exercise patience as the government undertakes measures to create job opportunities for them.
Mr. Twum Berimah was addressing a massive health walk organised by Mr Paul Ansah former CEO OF GPHA and Asougyaman constituency NPP executive in the Eastern Region which was also to endorse Paul Asare Ansah as preferred NPP candidate for Asougyaman Constituency when nominations are opened for the 2020 election.
According to him the party is aware of the unemployment situation in the country and therefore is implementing some polices like one district one factory, planting for food and jobs and Nation Builders corps to enable the youth gets jobs to do. According to him the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government has so far performed very well to the satisfaction of Ghanaians and the international community. This, he said would inform the decision of the masses to vote massively in 2020 to retain his government in power.
Speaking to the cheering crowd Mr Asare Ansah indicated that his work at the port had come to an end but his energy and drive were still intact and was ready to continue serving Asuogyaman and Ghana in any capacity. He invited the people to support the party and the government in their endeavours to change the lives of Ghanaians. He said at the right time he would lead the people of Asougyaman and faithful supporters of the NPP party to the Promised Land. He said for now they should all rally behind the government and work to ensure that they bring back the glory of Asougyaman and provide more jobs for the youth in the constituency.
The NPP Chairman of Asougyaman Constituency Dr Akyea Darkwah also said that he is in full support of Mr Paul Asare Ansah candidature and he will do everything to support and win the seat for the one the people want. He submitted that he couldn't support anybody who would make it difficult for them to win but he would support the one who will make it easy to win and he believes that with Paul Ansah’s current disposition they've already taking over Asougyaman.
