NDC's Boycott...."Thank God For Whoever Gave Them That Idea" – Omari Wadie

Newly elected third National Vice Chairman for the New Patriotic Party [NPP] Michael Omari Wadie affirms excuses presented so far by the NDC as reasons to their absence at the NPP’s just ended national delegates’ conference do not much the grounds to boycott such an event.

He said, the party is not in any form worried or affected by the largest opposition party’s absence, since it doesn’t make any difference.

“If your ex-partner decides not to show-up at your wedding, they go crying and we thank God because if they had been there we don’t know what they were even going to do or say”.

In an interview on Citi TV breakfast daily show, Mr. Omari Wadie noted “they say they won’t show-up and we say thank God for whoever gave them that idea.”

We went on and had a peaceful and a successful conference and we are done, they claim they were mourning Former Vice-President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, that is interesting but they could have looked for a better excuse,” the NPP’s newly elected third Vice- Chairman asserted.

The National Democratic Congress [NDC] did not show show-up at NPP’s national delegates election confab held in the Eastern Region at the Koforidua Technical University to read out their solidarity message as the other political parties did, with an excuse of mourning the demised Former Vice-President Paa Kwesi Amisah Arthur, also because they find President Akufo-Addo undemocratic for mishandling  the removal of the electoral commission officials and the national identification registration process.
