NDC Executives Urged To Focus On Winning Election 2020

Mr Kobina Ade-Coker, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged the newly elected constituency executives in the region to set one common goal of winning Election 2020.

He said: “We cannot afford to be in opposition for eight years, hence the need for everyone to realise his or her mistake, which isolated them from the masses, and equally, go on their knees and beg for votes in the 2020 elections.”

Mr Ade-Coker gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, after signing the book of condolence of the late former Vice-President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur.

He cautioned party members of Korley Klottey to avoid acts that would be detrimental to the progress of the NDC.

The Regional Chairman later inaugurated the 24-member elected Korley Klottey constituency executives to steer the affairs of the party for four years.

He advised the executives not to undermine each other but do all they could to ensure that the NDC wins power, while encouraging the youth to bury their differences and vote for the party to recapture the lost seats in the region.

Mr Leeford Quarshie, the newly elected Chairman of the Korley Klottey, on behalf of the executives, promised to provide good leadership to improve the constituency by working hard to meet the aspiration of the people.

He said everybody was important and no one should left out in the efforts to win back power, adding that; “this is the time party supporters need to put aside their personal differences and help ensure victory come the 2020 general elections.”

“I am quite confident that we have capable people in the constituency, who can work in unity with new ideas to ensure that the Korley Klottey seat is maintained,” Mr Quarshie said.
