Media Now Platform For Insults, Propaganda - Pastor Fosu

The role of the media is to educate, inform and entertain.

However, it has now become a platform for insults and propaganda according to Pastor Francis Fosu, National Campus Coordinator of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry.

Speaking at the launch of this year’s Annual Campus Congress: ‘Transfiguration 2018’ of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Fosu bemoaned the fact that our media landscape is filled with insults from political agents, abuse, sexual scenes and so on instead of educating the youth and propagating the word of God.

“What grieves my heart is the fact that the media is now being used as a medium for insults, abuse and so on but I am believing God that they will reverse the trend. We plead that the politics will be minimized" adding; if the media is to go by its role, homosexuality and other vices in our society will be a thing of the past.

This year’s Congress is dubbed ‘Transfiguration 2018 – transforming Intellectuals into Agents of Transformation’. It will start on 1st - 5th August 2018 and it will be held concurrently at Anyaa in Accra for those in the Southern sector and Brofoyedur in Kumasi for the Northern sector.

Meanwhile, Pastor Fosu is hopeful that participants of this year's Congress will experience unprecedented presence of God.
