Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson on May 24, 2018, announced the death of her mother, Madam Elizabeth Johnson on Instagram and as usual, consoling messages from fans and followers poured in.

“It deeply saddens me to say that my beloved mother is gone. This is trying time for my family and we would appreciate your prayers, even as we plead for our privacy at this time. Thank you,” she posted.

Ever since the Nollywood actress posted the above, we have not heard anything from her on any of her social media handles.

But, her husband, Prince Odi Okojie while responding to his wife’s weight loss after a fan asked, revealed that his wife has not yet recovered from the loss of her mother.

He responded, “Wify isn’t herself yet, she’s still trying to heal after moms death. She asked to see @h.o.p.e.fasion today it’s her birthday so I wanted to support her. I want my playful bestfriend/Wify back ooo.”
